Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Lucnise. I’m a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. My professional background includes training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and I have experience supporting clients through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress management.

I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I value authenticity and cultural awareness in my work, and I am especially mindful of how personal identity, life experiences, and environment shape each individual’s journey. My goal is to meet you where you are and support you in moving toward meaningful growth and healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and strengths-based approaches to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be holding you back, build practical coping strategies, and develop tools that empower you to navigate challenges both inside and outside of sessions. I aim to create a balance between offering guidance and giving you space to reflect, ensuring that you feel supported while also building confidence in your own voice and decisions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and identifying your goals.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a sense of whether I’m the right fit for you.

By the end of our first meeting, we’ll begin to outline a plan that aligns with your needs and priorities, so you can leave feeling supported, understood, and hopeful about the path forward.
