Great to meet you!

I'm Alexa Rodriguez, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada with over a decade of experience helping adults navigate some of life's most complex and painful moments — from trauma and grief to anxiety, relationship stress, and major life transitions. My background in child welfare and juvenile justice has given me a deep appreciation for resilience and the real courage it takes to ask for help.

I work entirely via telehealth, which means I can meet you where you are — literally. I bring warmth, cultural awareness, and evidence-based tools to every session, and I'll never make you feel like a checklist. I also believe laughter has a place in therapy, because not every breakthrough has to be heavy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and completely tailored to you — not a one-size-fits-all formula. I draw from EMDR, CBT, ACT, Attachment-Based therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches depending on what fits your goals, personality, and history. I'm direct without being cold, and nurturing without being passive.

I see you as the expert on your own life. My job is to help you connect the dots, interrupt old patterns, and build practical skills so you can move forward with more clarity and confidence. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish, and I bring cultural humility and sensitivity to every interaction.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about connection — not evaluation. We'll take time to get to know each other, talk about what brought you here, and begin mapping out your goals. I'll ask questions, but I'll follow your lead. You don't have to share everything at once; there's no script to follow and nothing you need to have figured out before we start.

My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling genuinely heard — and maybe a little less alone with whatever you've been carrying.
