Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Luz Mora, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut. With over 13 years of experience in mental health, I’ve worked with families, teens and young adults in various settings, including schools, clinics and private practice. I understand how challenging life can be, from managing anxiety and depression to navigating important life challenges. My goal is to support you by offering guidance and tools to help you thrive during difficult times.

My approach to therapy

In establishing a meaningful therapeutic relationship with a client, I have 4 main goals: connect, reflect, challenge, and grow. I strive to connect with you through displaying genuineness, empathy, and non-judgment. I want to assist my clients towards authentic, personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away clear, actionable insights and practical support tailored to their needs. For example: complex ideas broken down into understandable steps; well-organized plans for writing, problem-solving, or decision-making; visual aids or summaries (on request) to help remember key takeaways.
