Great to meet you!
Feeling stuck, anxious, or like something’s off? You don’t have to figure it all out alone — I’m here to help.
Hi there — I’m Lydia Antonatos, a licensed psychotherapist based in Florida with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and over a decade of cumulative clinical experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, panic, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and low self-esteem.
I’m a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), trained in how anxiety affects both the brain and body. I use evidence-based, practical strategies — like CBT, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation — to help you feel more grounded and in control.
My career path hasn’t been linear, and I embrace that. Life led me to take breaks — for family, relocation, and caregiving — but those experiences have only made me a more empathetic and real-world therapist. I know what it’s like to pivot, restart, and show up through uncertainty. That lived experience deeply informs how I show up for my clients.
My professional background includes crisis intervention, community mental health, nonprofit work, and virtual therapy. I’m bilingual (English and Spanish) and especially committed to providing culturally sensitive care to the Hispanic/Latinx community.
Therapy with me feels more like a real conversation than a clinical appointment — warm, honest, and collaborative. You don’t have to come in with it all figured out. We’ll untangle what’s weighing on you and start creating real, lasting change — at your pace.
