Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting teenagers (ages 13–17), adults, and older adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, and life transitions. I earned my Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University and have worked across residential, detox, outpatient, and virtual settings. My approach is goal-oriented, affirming, and collaborativeI aim to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and genuinely human, while also helping you move toward meaningful change.

I especially enjoy working with busy professionals and caregivers who are juggling multiple responsibilities and often put their own needs last. Using evidence-based approaches such as C. ognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care, I focus on building practical coping tools and emotional insight you can apply in real life. In telehealth sessions, I strive to make therapy feel accessible, flexible, and connected, so it fits into your life rather than adding another layer of stress.

My approach to therapy

I focus on practical, skills-based therapy that helps you manage stress, emotions, and daily challenges more effectively. Sessions often include learning coping tools, improving communication, and breaking down overwhelming situations into manageable steps. My goal is for therapy to feel useful and applicable, so you leave sessions with insight and tools you can actually use.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to work on. I’ll ask questions to understand your current concerns, strengths, and goals, and we’ll begin identifying a few practical areas to focus on. You can expect a supportive, low-pressure conversation where we start building clarity and a plan that feels manageable and aligned with your needs.
