Great to meet you!

As a mental health counselor and art therapist, I believe that healing begins with connection to ourselves, our stories, and our body’s innate wisdom. My approach is collaborative and empowering: you are in the driver’s seat of your own growth, and I’m here to support and guide you on that journey. As a Latina woman, I bring a culturally attuned and inclusive lens to my work. I understand that our identities, and cultural contexts profoundly shape our experiences. My goal is to create a welcoming space where all parts of you are seen, valued, and supported. A space that invites genuine transformation while honoring your story.

My approach to therapy

I integrate evidence-based, trauma-focused approaches such as EMDR and somatic therapy into my practice, always tailoring treatment to the unique person in front of me. Whether we’re exploring difficult past experiences, managing stress and anxiety, or seeking deeper self-compassion, I provide tools and emotional safety to help you move toward healing. For clients who enjoy creative approaches, I also integrate art therapy as a powerful way to express and process experiences that words can’t always capture. I also offer sound baths for clients interested in integrating sound into their practice.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and creating a safe, welcoming space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. The world is already a judgmental place and the therapeutic space should be a place where all parts of you are accepted and heard.

We'll also spend time exploring what brings you to therapy, discussing your current concerns, and identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. Together, we'll begin developing a plan that supports your unique needs and helps guide our work moving forward.
