Great to meet you!

I am a honest direct therapist who will challenge you, using only positive reinforcement, positive intention, because that is how you get the positive outcome! Along the way, I will support you and give you tools and coping strategies to best succeed.

My approach to therapy

I specialized in children and family development and therapy approaches and theories. Additionally, a sub specialization in substance abuse. I was a crisis worker for 10 years and have heavy experience with severe mental diagnoses. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing.

What you can expect from me

In the first session I will discuss my ethical responsibilities and the "rules" of therapy. I will then ask, "what brought you to therapy?" so you can start where the struggle is the most prevalent. I will gather information, and we will develop a treatment plan.
