Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in AZ and see clients in-person in my Tucson office or via telehealth. I received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William & Mary in 2023. I work with individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and major life transitions. I take an integrative approach to counseling, drawing from humanistic counseling, EMDR, parts work, mindfulness, attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral approaches, and more. The important thing for you to know is that we'll work together to find the approach that best meets your needs.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I am gentle, direct, compassionate, inquisitive, and collaborative. I want to truly understand your experience and help you find a path forward that feels authentic and sustainable. One of my main specializations is trauma-focused treatment. I utilize EMDR, parts work, and nervous system regulation techniques to help individuals heal and find freedom from the past.

What you can expect from me

During the first few minutes of our first session, I'll review the paperwork and make sure we're on the same page about expectations. The rest of the time will be spent getting to know who you are, what brings you to counseling, and what you hope to accomplish. We'll likely spend some time talking specifically about your goals for therapy so that I can draft a treatment plan for you to review after our first 1-2 sessions. While the first session involves some logistics, the primary goal is to get to know you!
