Great to meet you!

I work with people who are deeply curious about how their past experiences and relationships shape who they are today. I help those ready to unburden aches and pains, even ones they can't quite name yet, and those exploring their identity, gender, or relationship structures. My practice is BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and poly/kink affirming, and I offer Brainspotting, EMDR, and IFS-informed therapy, along with KAP integration and prep sessions for clients already working with another provider. I'm neurodivergent, a child of immigrants who fled the Salvadoran civil war, and I bring lived experience with interracial and intercultural relationships, traumatic birth, being a trauma survivor, queer, and growing up in a high-control religious environment. I actively engage in my own healing practices so I can keep showing up fully for my loved ones and the people I serve.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative. I bring the knowledge from my education and training, and you bring your stories, your bravery, and your wisdom. My hope is to build a space where your most authentic self, the version of you that's true and whole, even if we haven't fully found that version yet. I want the people I work with to leave feeling unapologetically themselves.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you and figuring out together what actually works for you, not following a script. I'll ask about what's going on and what you're hoping to move toward, but just as much, I want you to get a feel for me. I'm trauma-informed and consent-centered, so you'll always have a voice in how we work and we'll adjust anything that doesn't feel right. You can also expect me to show up as myself, including my dark sense of humor and a face that tends to say what I'm thinking before I do. Most people I work with already have a good sense of what isn't working. My job from session one is to start helping you move beyond that insight into real, embodied change.
