Having served in the U.S. Navy and the Air Force, I appreciate the service and sacrifice of those serving in the military and the families who serve with them. I have worked in the public education system. I've seen how disorders like Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and other childhood developmental disorders impact a child's learning potential. Family, in general, poses a challenge today, as so many children are impacted by divorce and other forms of family separation. I desire to help families to build, rather than destroy this important relationship.

The primary goal in my approach to therapy is: Empowerment. Helping an individual, or a family, develop the insight and coping skills to address the challenges they currently perceive about life, and how to overcome them.

They can see themselves in a more accurate and self affirming way. They can change problem saturated stories into solution oriented thought, beliefs and behaviors.
