Great to meet you!

If you're going through something difficult and want a therapist who will be honest with you, not just agreeable, you're in the right place. With more than 40 years of experience working with clients from age 5 to 81, I've helped people through all kinds of hard moments. I'm direct. If I'm not the right fit for what you're dealing with, I'll tell you and point you toward someone who is.

My approach to therapy

My training is rooted in client-centered, Rogerian therapy, which means sessions follow your lead. I draw on psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and behavioral approaches depending on what you need rather than applying one formula to everyone. My goal is to understand your experience from the inside, the way you're actually living it, and work from there.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not an intake form. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, how I work, and whether we seem like a good fit. There's no commitment beyond that meeting. We'll decide together how to move forward, and that decision belongs to both of us.
