Great to meet you!

I grew up in Massachusetts, and have lived in rural towns as well as cities throughout New England. I am a compassionate therapist who listens to you without judgement. Helping adults who are struggling with life challenges is a priority for me and one that I value and uphold with a respect for each individual client. Thank you for considering me as your therapist.

My approach to therapy

Hello again, Thanks for continuing to read my introduction. I want to help clients feel validated and heard when you reach out for emotional help. Asking for help, feedback and support takes courage and I congratulate you for reaching out. I have an open and supportive style of therapy. I want you to feel you can share honestly with no judgements. I may challenge you, but I won't lecture you. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other therapeutic interventions. I sometimes use worksheets and readings to help you organize and gain insight.

What you can expect from me

Treatment goals are like a roadmap or GPS. They give the you direction. You and I will define these goals as well as redefine them as time moves on. You may be exploring what is ahead in your life or reaching out for help and solutions. You could be feeling traumatized or facing work/ life changes. Having goals will help you see your progress toward the healing and toward reaching your dreams. I strive to give you the tools to help you and empower you to achieve those goals.
