Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Lyndsei, and I specialize in supporting high-achieving BIPOC professionals who find themselves grappling with the weight of stress, burnout, perfectionism, and the unique challenges that come with being a trailblazer and a "strong friend." You're the one everyone turns to for support, yet your own cup often remains empty. Together, let's explore the root causes of feeling stuck and overwhelmed, and work towards reclaiming your peace, confidence, and alignment.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I specialize in treating individual and families dealing with emotion dysregulation, dysfunctional patterns, relationship issues, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and internal conflicts. In my work with individuals, I integrate elements of Traditional Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). In my work with families, I utilize Structural Family Therapy (SFT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

What you can expect from our first session

I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment that welcomes you to remove your mask and be filled so that you don’t have to pour from an empty cup. As a psychotherapist, my role is to help you make connections as you tell your story, find your strengths and build your courage to confront difficult emotions or experiences. I help give language to what you are experiencing and grow your understanding of the change process. No matter the issues you are facing, you don’t have to face them alone!
