Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a licensed professional clinical counselor. I obtained my undergraduate degree in psychology from Ohio University and my masters from Ashland Theological Seminary. I've been working in the field for several years now and have really enjoyed working with young adults in stage of life issues, couples committed to each other but struggling with communication and conflict, and women struggling with anxiety and depression.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a more person centered approach with my individuals. We create a goal as a map for where you are trying to get in life and each session is meant to empower you to get one step closer. With my couples, I use the Gottman method for couple's therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

In session, it's pretty organic in the sense that whatever you need that day, I'm there to support you in that. I'm very inquisitive and have learned my fair share of coping skills in my time in the field. So the hope is you feel heard and equipped to tackle life outside of session.
