Great to meet you!

  • Hi, My name is Lynelle Tyler and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of California.
  • Biography: I began my career in psychology as a school psychologist in Santa Cruz California. After six years of assessing learning disabilities I had the opportunity to work as a professional musician. Seventeen years later my passion for singing, recording, and directing was replaced by a desire to enhance my abilities as a psychologist. I earned my doctorate and licensure while accruing pre and post doctoral hours at The Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center in Truckee, California. I worked with cancer patients, adults struggling with chronic pain and addiction, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, and PTSD.
  • As an aside, I have been legally blind since age 4. Navigating life with a disability is possible. It's not always easy. It takes some amount of planning, the support of friends, and tenacity. Most of all, however, we need the belief that something better is available to us and it is there for us if we try. Thinking outside the box is my greatest asset and I apply it to helping others.
