Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor with a doctorate in the counseling profession. I have 29 years of experience. I specialize in anxiety and body image issues. I also assist individuals with stress, depression, coping with grief and loss, anger management, motivation, self esteem and other concerns. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and will create a treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic perspective is cognitive behavioral, in that I take a "positive thinking" approach with my clients. My clients will learn how to challenge negative thoughts and will be taught how to begin replacing negative thoughts with positive thoughts. This approach has a tendency to produce a positive outcome during difficult situations.

What you can expect from me

My clients will delve into past history to receive a better understanding of self, as well as learn appropriate coping skills in dealing with difficult life situations.
