Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Dr. Lynn Bradford, a psychologist specializing in treating mental and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents. With a Ph.D. in Counseling and Educational Psychology from Indiana University, I work in clinical practice helping children and adolescents improve their mental health and assisting parents with managing their child’s problems at home and school.

My approach to therapy

When working with children and adolescents, parents must be involved. Therapy with the child involves using cognitive behavioral techniques to develop coping skills to improve their mood and behavior. Parents receive education regarding their child’s diagnosis and are assisted with developing strategies to help their child at home and school.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be involved in developing a treatment plan with the setting of goals and how they will be achieved. Parents will be involved, typically at the start of the session, to assess progress and identify any new issues. The remainder of the session will be spent with the child or adolescent. Sometimes, there may be homework or implementing a behavior plan at home.
