Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia who has spent my career working with people who didn't get the support they deserved when it mattered most. I understand child welfare, complex family systems, and what it actually takes to rebuild a life from the ground up — because I've walked alongside people doing exactly that. I work with teens (14+), young adults, and adults navigating trauma, major life changes, burnout, and the long work of figuring out who you are and where you're going. My approach is direct, warm, and practical. We won't just talk about your feelings — we'll build real tools you can actually use.

My approach to therapy

My work is trauma-informed and strengths-based — which means I start from the assumption that you already have more resilience than you realize. We'll work together to understand how your past has shaped your patterns, and then build something better on top of it. I use a blend of evidence-based tools including CBT, psychoeducation, and solution-focused approaches. I'm not a distant expert handing down a diagnosis; I show up as a real human being who brings humor and creativity into sessions — because healing doesn't have to feel heavy all the time. The goal is always movement: forward, grounded, and on your terms.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about you telling your story on your own terms — there's no checklist to get through and no pressure to share more than you're ready to. I'll ask questions that help me understand where you are right now and what you most need from our work together. By the end of our first hour, you'll have a clear sense of whether I'm the right fit for you, and we'll start sketching out what therapy could actually look like. I want you to leave that first session feeling heard — not evaluated. We go at your pace, always.
