Great to meet you!

I'm a psychologist with 20+ years experience providing warm, compassionate, evidence based treatment & I have trained 200+ young psychologists to do the same. My core values include authenticity, kindness, humility, & celebrating the unique beauty & worth of every human. I maintain my own mental health using the very same theories & methods that I'll share with you. We are all human.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy working w/ adults of all ages & I have advanced training in geropsych. I have a passion for working w/ creatives. I'm a staunch ally & I love serving LGBTQI+, gender diverse, & neurodiverse people. Acceptance & Commitment Therapy is my primary approach, though I'm fluent in most flavors of Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I will tailor to your needs.

What you can expect from me

In the end, therapy is about living a rich &meaningful life &being true to who you are, even in the midst of difficult times &emotional pain. I will help you clarify your values &what's most important to you. I will help you grow, guided by these values &by my deep understanding of human psychology &behavior. You will feel (&be) respected &seen. You will see that I am a human, too. You will leave each session w/ resource ideas &between-session work to contribute to your growth &healing.
