Qualified as a MAC and CADC with extensive experience treating use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs. My goal is to make you comfortable and thereby receptive to the changes that need to occur so as to have you be able to function well in your environment

A bit about my approach to therapy

I remain selectively eclectic and adapt differing modalities as situations warrant, such as, Cognitive Behavioral, Behavioral, Cognitive, Humanistic, Client-Centered, Motivational, Reality, Brief Solution Focused and Holistic approach with my clients. After years of experience it is a fact that we are all individuals and what may be effective for some is not for others, however, what you can be assured of is a non judgmental accepting atmosphere where we will work together to get to the root of the problem and then together come up with a treatment plan/solution that is amenable to us that attacks the problem as we both understand it.

What you can expect from our first session

The major goal is to restore life back to the previous levels of effective functioning before disruptive life occurrences/ experiences and to help clients successfully cope with life changing experiences both past and present while dealing more effectively and successfully with their current and future life. What they can hope to take away from our sessions is a clear concise trail that is visible/tangible toward achieving the goals we have set out for the client at the treatment planning phase of the entire evolution. Keeping in mind that these can be flexible as treatment progresses. The only promise I can give is that I will work tirelessly just as hard as you do to help you overcome this debilitating issue in your life. You can expect to take away from our sessions; Wow! that guy really cares about what happens to me.
