Great to meet you!

I have over 20 years of experience working with clients throughout the developmental cycles- from middle school through older adult issues. I received my Masters in Social Work from University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work. I specialize in trauma focused treatment and have worked in outpatient settings with military (Active Duty and Veterans) members, those that have been incarcerated, as well as survivors of sexual assault or interpersonal violence.

My approach to therapy

Each client is different and that is what I work with. I utilize self-directed therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Rogerian, with some Cognitive Behavioral sprinkled in where needed.

What you can expect from me

I believe that therapy can be the best gift that one can give themselves and that therapy does not "fix" things - no one is "broken" - we may not have found our best, and most enjoyable self as of yet and that is something therapy can assist with. The first session is to listen to your goals and pick up on any relationship/communication patterns that may be impacting those self goals.
