Great to meet you!

I am glad you made it here and cannot wait to meet you!

Are you feeling stuck, going through a major life transition or just feeling so overwhelmed you do not know what you feel? You have come to the right place!

If you’re searching for a therapist who blends compassion, clinical expertise, and holistic care, you’re in the right place. I’m Lynna Arbogast, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) and National Board Certified Counselor (NCC) with over 2 decades of experience helping individuals, families, and professionals navigate life transitions, stress, and personal growth.

Before entering private practice, I served as a special educator and school counselor, supporting children and adolescents with behavioral, academic, and emotional challenges. That foundation shaped my passion for neurodiversity advocacy and supporting individuals with ADHD, autism, and related conditions.

My professional path also includes serving as a crisis counselor, where I provided immediate mental health support to individuals and families facing life-altering events such as fires, floods, and emergency evacuations. During this time, I also worked closely with first responders managing secondary trauma and compassion fatigue, helping them process intense experiences and maintain emotional resilience. These moments deepened my trauma-informed, steady, and compassionate approach to counseling.

Beyond my professional background, I know what it means to juggle demanding roles—as a spouse, parent, and professional—and to strive for excellence while seeking balance. My personal and professional experiences come together to help clients break free from perfectionism, manage stress, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

You have already taken the first step towards a life change. Let's take the next step together!

My approach to therapy

I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your emotions and work towards your goals using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques. My focus is always on what works best for you.

I tailor each session to the unique needs of my clients, drawing from a variety of counseling modalities. These may include Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, among others. Together, we will find the approach that works best for you.

A safe, trusting relationship is at the heart of my practice. I am passionate about helping clients feel empowered to navigate their unique journeys and unlock their full potential.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you — your story, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from it. We’ll talk about your experiences and start identifying areas you’d like to focus on. Most importantly, this space is completely judgment-free.

You’ll have my full attention and support as we begin building a foundation of trust and understanding for your journey ahead. Don't put off scheduling an appointment.
