Counseling is a second career for me. After a successful career in banking, I decided to switch gears and pursue a profession that would allow me the opportunity to assist and witness success on a human level. I received my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Yeshiva University. I understand what it’s like to wrestle with what truly makes one happy and take the steps to achieve that goal.
Concentration on the tie between body and mind: Mental health can have a direct effect on one’s physical health. Issues sought for counseling may include anxiety, depression, bereavement, grief, loss, disordered eating, gender identity, domestic/intimate partner violence, divorce/separation, relationships, physical and emotional effects of aging, substance use and end of life.
By creating a safe environment through building trust with compassion and empathy clients gain tools and insight on their path to wellness. Mental Health Counselor with experience working with individuals, families and groups. A particular interest in women’s health issues, mindfulness, and transitional life events and youth services.
