Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Lynne. I received my Master's degree from Whitworth University. I started my career working with at-risk youth in residential treatment, sexual assault and trauma. I use evidence-based treatments, including various types of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to meet clients where they. Life happens. For me therapy is about providing a safe, compassionate, and caring space where clients can process through their challenges, learn healthy coping skills, and feel empowered when they complete psychotherapy.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is similar to the first time you go to a doctor. We talk about the assessments you completed, the symptoms you are having, any trauma you have experienced and other basic information. I share my diagnosis based on clinical criteria in the DSM-V-TR, and talk about your ultimate goal in therapy. Your first homework assignment is to identify your first treatment goal and to begin engaging in daily self-care.
