Great to meet you!

I understand that life circumstances can create challenges that impact our emotions, thoughts, behaviors, relationships, and even our physical well-being. Stress, trauma, transitions, and ongoing struggles can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate them alone.

I believe that with compassionate support, proper mental health care, and evidence-based treatment, individuals are capable of healing, growth, and overcoming life’s difficulties. My goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative space where clients feel empowered to better understand themselves, build effective coping strategies, and move toward greater balance, resilience, and emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

I am a strength-based therapist who focuses on increasing self-esteem, self-trust, and healthy coping skills while also helping reduce emotional distress and symptoms that may be impacting daily life. I believe therapy should support both healing and growth, and I work collaboratively with clients to create clear, meaningful goals that help track personal progress throughout the therapeutic process.

My goal is for you to feel supported, heard, and empowered during our sessions. I also incorporate relaxation and somatic-based exercises to help strengthen the mind-body connection and support emotional regulation. Together, we’ll work toward building practical tools, increasing resilience, and helping you move closer to the goals and changes that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on building connection and trust by first reviewing informed consent, discussing the therapy process, completing an initial assessment, and collaboratively creating therapy goals together. My goal is to help you feel supported, informed, and comfortable as we begin building a foundation for our work together.

During this time, we will also practice approaching the process with self-compassion and grace, recognizing that healing and growth take time. Together, we’ll begin identifying the areas you would like support with while creating a safe and collaborative space to continue exploring them in future sessions
