Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked at Rush Day Hospital for nine years treating a variety of mood and personality disorders. I have developed great skill in balancing a caring therapeutic rapport with direct communication and challenging feedback. I will be openminded and warm as we explore your emotional life together.

My approach to therapy

I believe it is important to understand the whys and the how comes of how you are interfacing in your relationships, at work, with your friends and family to be more effective in the world and your relationships.

I have practiced psychdynamic therapy for nine years. I have found that there is healing in understanding where old patterns of relating come from so that you can better understand how to change them in the future relationships.

What you can expect from me

My approach with each client starts with meeting you where you're at. I want to help you reach your goals and understand yourself better. I will work closely and hold your hand through this process so it can feel less intimidating and more doable.
