During these chaotic and unpredictable times, it is natural to be experiencing difficulties. Fun, joy, connection, and community are difficult to access and impact wellbeing. I specialize in treating symptoms of anxiety, autism, adhd, depression and multicultural issues. I avoid labeling diagnoses (decolonizing when possible) and work to treat you holistically. We work on communication, focusing, frustration tolerance strategies through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with an anti-oppressive lens.
I am a person that can guide you towards all the tools that might help you out. It is important to have a mental health practitioner who is aware of social justice issues and biases, and will help you work through issues of oppression, ancestral and generational traumas, micro(macro)aggressions, and identity struggles.
You will spend time focusing on yourself and your needs. With me, you will try new ways to manage your anxieties, disruptive thoughts, and negative patterns. I tend to work with clients who are in hostile work environments, struggling with identity, relationship struggles, grieving, anxiety, and more.
