Great to meet you!

I’m Lyz Eidam, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, Panic, Mood Disorders, OCD, PTSD, Grief, Stress, and challenges related to life changes.

My approach to therapy

I will share a bit about my approach to care.

I believe that good mental health care starts with feeling heard, understood, and comfortable. My approach is warm, compassionate, and centered around you as an individual. I strive to create a calm and nonjudgmental space where you can communicate openly and feel safe discussing what you are experiencing.

I also believe in working together. Rather than simply telling you what to do, I want you to understand your options and feel involved in decisions about your care. As both a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner, I value looking at the whole person and recognizing how physical health, emotional well-being, lifestyle, and life experiences can all be connected.

What you can expect from me

What you can expect from our first session

Our first visit is about getting to know you—not just your symptoms. I want to hear your story, understand what has been troubling you, and learn what you would like to improve in your life.

We’ll talk about your concerns, medical and mental health history, current symptoms, and goals in a comfortable and supportive conversation. From there, we’ll work together to develop a personalized treatment plan that feels appropriate for you.

My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of the next steps in your care.
