After leaving ITT Corporation's Fluid Technology Division in 2010 with a Six Sigma/Green Belt Certification, he earned a Master's in psychology from Capella University in 2011. In 2016, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from a doctoral program in clinical psychology at California Southern University, concentrating in psychopathology assessment and psychiatric diagnosis. His doctoral thesis, on attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders in Spanish-American children and adolescents, was published by Scholars' Press in 2017.
After graduating, he worked in Boston, Massachusetts, at Southbay Community Services, providing outreach psychotherapy for children and families through Chelsea Elementary School. In 2017, he served as a psychometrician/neurometrician at the Deaconess Hospital Neuroscience Institute in Spokane, Washington, administering and scoring neuropsychological batteries for adult and senior populations with neurocognitive and neurological disorders.
He then returned to Texas, joining Hirsch and Associates Comprehensive Mental Health in League City, where he conducted mental health status evaluations and administered psychological batteries for the Social Security Administration's disability department, while also providing individual, couples, and family psychotherapy. In 2021, he became the program psychotherapist for the CHI St. Joseph Health System – Senior Renewal Program in Caldwell, Texas, delivering psychological and psychosocial treatment to seniors with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
In 2023, he briefly served as Clinical Director for the Texas DFPS at the Safe Haven Youth Ranch in Hempstead, working with children, and as a psychotherapist at the Brenham State Supported Living Center in Brenham, supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. He then accepted a clinical position at NeuroCoach in Bryan, Texas, which he concluded in January 2026.
