Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Macie Litchfield, LMFT and have been a therapist for 5+ years! I am passionate about helping adult women and mothers overcome their anxiety and support changing unwanted behaviors such as people pleasing, reducing intrusive thoughts and building self-esteem. I have my MA in Counseling and BS in Psychology. I began my work for a non-profit and continued to a private practice as I finished my required hours. After licensure I continued my work supporting women struggling with anxiety.

My approach to therapy

I use CBT and Person-Centered techniques supporting the client in unique ways that work to empower one's strengths and help clients find stability through the change healing can bring. Through thorough assessment of client's learning styles I strive to bring tools and specific techniques that the client can understand in their own individual way. My hope is to bring a holistic approach to healing anxiety including connecting the mind with the body covering the multiple paths anxiety takes.

What you can expect from me

It's important to me that clients receive support they can take home with them between sessions. This includes physical tools such as journaling and worksheets along with cognitive tools including reframing phrases, boundaries, strength building and self-esteem building. My hope is that clients can implement applicable tools that support thoroughly and do not add to the overwhelm they may already be feeling due to the effects of the anxiety.
