Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Macie Roorda, M.Ed., LPC. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. I have experience working with teens, adults, parents, and couples navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem, family dynamics, and the many pressures that can come with balancing relationships, work, and everyday life.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be honest without feeling judged or like you have to have everything figured out. My style is warm, affirming, and collaborative, and I value getting to know each client as a whole person rather than reducing them to a diagnosis or problem. I also believe there is room for humor in therapy—even when we’re talking about difficult things.
I especially enjoy working with clients who are looking to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, improve communication, and create meaningful changes in their lives.
