Great to meet you!

Bio

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, evidence-based care for children, adolescents, and adults. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and personalized, with an emphasis on creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space.

Many patients share that visits feel more like talking with a trusted friend than a formal appointment, and that I am easy to open up to. I focus on listening first and working together to find treatment options that truly fit your needs.

I treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, mood disorders, and emotional dysregulation, and I have experience working with children and adolescents, as well as adults. I take an integrative approach, using medication thoughtfully alongside education and collaboration with therapists when helpful.

My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported — and to leave each visit with clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized. I believe the most effective treatment happens when patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decision-making.

I focus on thoughtful assessment, conservative and intentional prescribing, and clear education so patients understand their options and feel confident in their care. Many patients describe visits as feeling conversational and supportive, which helps create a space where it’s easy to open up and be honest.

I take an integrative view of mental health, recognizing the role of biological, psychological, and lifestyle factors, and I value collaboration with therapists, families (when appropriate), and other providers. My goal is to provide care that feels both professional and human, supporting meaningful progress while respecting each patient’s unique experience.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive conversation focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you in. We’ll review your current concerns, symptoms, history, and goals, and I’ll take time to listen and answer questions.

There is no pressure to share everything at once — we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll explain my recommendations clearly, discuss treatment options, and make sure you feel involved in next steps.

Many clients find the first visit feels more like a conversation than an evaluation. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clear plan moving forward.
