Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Counselor who finds great fulfillment in helping individuals gain insight, foster self-awareness, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. I believe that exploring our personal histories, family dynamics, and life experiences can provide valuable context for growth, while also empowering us to take responsibility for our choices and continue evolving as adults. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and encouraged as they navigate life's challenges and opportunities for growth.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy movie nights, spending time with my dogs, crafting, and baking. Family is incredibly important to me, and I cherish time with my husband, our two dogs, and our growing family as we eagerly await the arrival of our little one.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative partnership, where we work together to identify your goals and create meaningful, lasting change. Every individual is unique, which is why I tailor evidence-based treatment approaches to fit your specific needs and experiences. My therapeutic style often incorporates Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Strength-Based Therapy. In our sessions, I strive to meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive for you. I believe that therapy should be a valuable investment of your time, energy, and resources. I place a strong emphasis on goal setting to help track progress in the areas that matter most to you. Having clear, measurable goals can provide direction, celebrate growth, and ensure that our work together remains purposeful and meaningful. My hope is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel empowered to explore challenges, build on your strengths, and develop the tools needed for lasting growth and well-being. Together, we can foster meaningful change and create a foundation for sustainable personal growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns and experiences. I like to begin by getting to know you as a person, not just the challenges that have brought you to therapy. Building a genuine connection helps lay the foundation for meaningful and effective work together. As we continue, we'll explore your unique experiences, history, and current concerns so I can gain a deeper understanding of what you're navigating. Together, we'll identify your goals for therapy and develop practical, individualized strategies to support your growth and well-being. By the end of our first session, you'll have a clearer understanding of the therapy process, what to expect moving forward, and how we'll work collaboratively to support healing, personal growth, and lasting change.
