Great to meet you!

My background in both education and trauma counseling has shaped the way I understand people and the challenges they face. I’m interested in the many factors that influence how we experience ourselves and our relationships, including our cultures, histories, communities, and the world around us. I approach each client with curiosity and openness, recognizing that there is no single way to understand a person’s experience. I hope to create a space where you can bring your whole self and feel genuinely met as you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins through relationship. I draw from existential, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, relationships, and the experiences that have shaped them. Together, we may work on developing greater self-awareness while also building practical skills for communication, boundaries, emotional regulation, as well as navigating difficult situations. I aim to offer both support and thoughtful challenge, creating space for you to feel understood while also encouraging growth and change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant experiences and relationships, and what you hope to get from our work together. I’ll create space for you to share at your own pace while asking questions that help us identify patterns, strengths, and areas you may want to explore. By the end of our initial sessions, we’ll begin developing a shared understanding of your goals and what therapy can look like moving forward.
