Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 11 years of experience in mental health. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work, and I am currently pursuing my doctorate in clinical psychology. My background includes working in correctional settings with individuals experiencing serious mental illness, as well as providing support to individuals and families in the community.

I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where all clients feel heard and respected, with a strong focus on supporting minority populations. My goal is to provide compassionate, client-centered care while helping individuals achieve meaningful therapeutic growth.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients by creating a warm, welcoming environment where they feel safe to be themselves. I incorporate humor when appropriate to build connection and ease, while also holding space for deeper, more serious moments when needed.

My approach is client-centered and collaborative, ensuring each individual feels heard, respected, and supported throughout the therapeutic process. I draw on my experience working with diverse populations, including those with serious mental illness, to tailor care to each client’s unique needs. Together, we work toward meaningful growth, improved coping, and achieving personal therapeutic goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where they can begin to share their story at their own pace. We will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any relevant background information to help me better understand your needs.

You can expect a balance of professionalism and authenticity—I may incorporate light humor to help ease any nerves, while also holding space for more serious or difficult topics. My priority is to ensure you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the very beginning.
