Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Madeline (Maddie). I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas and Florida, and I’m passionate about creating a space where you can feel comfortable, understood, and truly yourself.

My background includes working in child welfare, school settings, and hospice care, where I provided grief support. These experiences have shaped the way I show up as a therapist, with compassion, flexibility, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story.

I work well with individuals who are open to self-exploration and ready to invest in themselves, even if it feels a little uncomfortable at times. Many of my clients come in navigating anxiety, life transitions, or difficult seasons, and are looking for both support and direction. In our work together, I meet you where you are while also helping you move forward, offering practical tools, revisiting important themes, and gently guiding conversations to get to the root of what’s going on. My goal is for you to feel empowered, not judged, and to leave sessions feeling lighter, more confident, and more capable of handling life’s challenges.

I also understand this process on a personal level. I’ve been on my own therapy journey, and I know how intimidating it can feel to open up, and how meaningful and transformative it can be when you feel truly supported.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, doing puzzles, and traveling, which helps me stay grounded and connected in my own life.

My hope is that when you come into this space, you feel safe, supported, and never judged. You don’t have to have everything figured out to get started.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is open, flexible, and person-centered. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you navigate challenges and work toward meaningful growth. Building a strong, trusting relationship is at the core of what I do, because I believe feeling safe, supported, and genuinely understood is one of the most important parts of therapy.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming environment where they will feel heard and respected. We will begin by discussing their reasons for seeking therapy, and I will take time to understand their unique needs, challenges, and goals. I will explain my therapeutic approach, which is flexible and tailored to each individual, and we’ll talk about the different modalities I use to support clients in their healing journey. I will also address important information such as informed consent and confidentiality to ensure that clients feel comfortable and informed about the therapy process. The session will include an opportunity to ask any questions about therapy, and I will focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space so clients can feel empowered as we explore their experiences.
