Great to meet you!

Weekend and evening virtual appointments currently available! My doctoral training and professional experiences provided many opportunities to assist clients with healing past trauma, addressing women's issues, and collaboratively constructing attainable goals and solutions to improve quality of life. I emphasize the importance of culture in my work, and welcome conversations about power differentials and societal inequities to acknowledge their impact on my client's lives.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, I will provide compassionate support as you walk your journey down life's path. You are the expert of your life, and together we can rebuild confidence and empowerment to allow you to achieve your dreams and goals amidst the many pressures placed upon women and the family in our society. I draw from Feminist therapy approaches, solution focused therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, and humanistic therapy.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to give my clients a toolbox with ready to use communication and coping skills, more helpful ways of thinking, a sense of empowerment, and confidence. I am direct in my interactions, which come from a place of genuine investment in my clients' wellbeing and future success. Honest feedback about our work together is a must, I encourage dialogue about our fit as client-therapist as well as client perception of progress towards goals.
