Great to meet you!

From a young age, I’ve been drawn to people who don’t look, sound, or live like me. I believe the human story is one of the most powerful and inspiring elements of life; and I believe sharing our stories with others is medicine to both listener and teller. Curiosity is a big part of why I became a therapist. Glad Acres is named after the street my grandmother lived on. Her home was a safe and hospitable abode for many people to share their stories, and I seek to emulate the same in the therapy room.

Outside of work, you can find me on my yoga mat, outside on a walk, deep in a craft project, or nursing a good cup of coffee. Music and shows have always been where I go to feel, process, and connect with myself and others. I've also had the opportunity to travel to Greece to work with women who survived trafficking, an experience that shaped how I understand resilience and what it means to help someone reclaim their story.

I've been in therapy myself for 13 years, and I know how exhausting it can be to talk in circles; understanding why you feel something and still feeling stuck in your body. That's why I bring somatic, nervous-system-focused work like EMDR into my practice: healing isn't just intellectual, it's felt.

I love working with people ready to do that inner work: a little nervous maybe, open to being gently challenged, showing up not perfectly, but consistently and with curiosity. Therapy is challenging, and I've seen its rewards in my own life, and in the lives of the people I've had the privilege to sit with. I'd be honored to walk alongside you throughout some of your journey.

If any of this lands for you, I’d love to connect!

My approach to therapy

Each human is unique, therefore each therapy journey and session is unique. I seek to meet you where you are, and tailor a plan with you that fits your needs and what you’re seeking from therapy. Your comfortability to share openly and safely is my utmost priority. We can process life transitions, navigate relationships, explore family dynamics and make sense of what life is bringing you in this moment. Beyond talk therapy, we can journey deeper by incorporating inner-child work and EMDR to regulate your nervous system and “get into the body and out of the mind.”

What you can expect from me

Therapy intake sessions can feel daunting. I tell my clients "I try to make this feel the least like an interview as possible." My primary goal is to create a warm and safe environment for you to show up as yourself. I seek to hear your story and what makes you yourself. From there, we'll establish your goals for therapy.
