Great to meet you!

When people ask me if I get stressed listening to others' problems all day, I say no, quite the opposite. I spend my days being an ally to my clients' desire to grow despite the difficulties they have faced.

I have a BA in Social Psychology from New College of Florida and a Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Florida. From New College I learned to be inquisitive about the human experience and from USF I got a strong foundation in Cognitive theory and therapies.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am trained to use CBT and other techniques but I view my clients from a humanistic and strength-based point of view. I also attend to the cultural contexts in which emotional symptoms arise. Said simply - sometimes the crazy outside your head is way worse than what's inside. LGBTQ+-Affiriming, Anti-racist Ally, Trauma-informed.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients come away feeling heard. What they share is that the process is goal-oriented but feels like an organic conversation. And sometimes we laugh.
