Great to meet you!

I graduated from Liberty University with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I have been a therapist in Alaska and in Tennessee prior to moving to Dahlonega. Through my time in previous clinics, I completed trainings in Narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Level 1 and Aftermath, as well as completing training for Brainspotting - a technique used for trauma. I love working with military families, trauma victims, and couples.

My approach to therapy

Rooted in cognitive behavioral and narrative therapy, my practice focuses on helping individuals gain deeper self-understanding so they can move forward with greater balance and authenticity. With a clinical background focused heavily on working within military settings, I specialize in addressing PTSD, anxiety disorders, and depression. Additionally, I support couples through relationship transitions, communication difficulties, and infidelity. Life rarely unfolds as anticipated, and I am passionate about guiding clients to create meaning from life's unexpected hurdles and discover peace in their present circumstances.

What you can expect from me

I believe that every person is uniquely shaped by their experiences, strengths, values, relationships, and the ways they have learned to navigate the world. Because of this, I don’t believe therapy should look the same for everyone. My intention is to meet you where you are and tailor our work to your individual needs while also helping you recognize and build upon the strengths you already carry.
