Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University. I've worked in therapy in inpatient and outpatient facilities with children, adolescents, and adults for several years. I specialize in depression, anxiety, lifestyle adjustments, behavioral issues, and trauma, and have a lot of experience working with autism spectrum and ADHD.

My approach to therapy

The most important part in successful therapy is building a strong therapeutic relationship, so I enjoy spending time getting to know you and what life looks like for you. I utilize treatment approaches from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Play Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Together, we will figure out which coping skills can be utilized in a beneficial way and work towards a healthier overall functioning.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a safe and supportive place for you to process what you need, whether that be emotions, negative thoughts, trauma, etc. We will determine your therapeutic goals and how to move forward in implementing them. Therapy can be an extremely intimidating idea at first: my purpose is to support you unconditionally as you work on your relationship with yourself and others. I hope to help aid in your understanding of your needs to help you feel more equipped for everyday life
