Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Madison! Whether you are a neurodivergent adolescent or adult, a caregiver, or a fellow helper, this is the space for you. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who works across the lifespan helping people manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, burnout, compassion fatigue, identity development, and life transitions. I work with neurodivergent children and adults (Autism, brain injuries, learning disabilities, intellectual and developmental disabilities), caregivers (to kids, parents, siblings, etc) and people in helping professions (nurses, therapists, teachers, etc). I am a board-certified music therapist and a PA Licensed counselor who brings a creative and whole-person lens to my clinical work. I adapt to what each person needs and I look forward to connecting with you!

My approach to therapy

I use a person-centered, strengths-based, systems-theory, and culturally responsive approach to therapy. I respond and adapt to each individual client in a way that best fits their needs. I incorporate mindfulness based techniques, psycho-education, and expressive arts. Care does not happen in a vacuum, rather therapists need to address and acknowledge systemic factors that impact peoples emotional, mental, and physical health outside of the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, welcoming, unhurried first session. I will ask thoughtful questions about what brought you here, what matters most to you, and how we might work together. There is no pressure to have everything figured out before we begin. My goal is that you leave feeling a little less alone and more hopeful about what is possible.
