Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) with experience in community mental health and crisis settings. I earned both my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) from Ohio University. I believe every person deserves a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, respected, and valued. My practice is rooted in inclusivity, and I take a whole-person, biopsychosocial approach to help clients build on their strengths and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and trauma, tailoring treatment to each person's experiences, strengths, and values. While I take your concerns seriously, I also believe there's room for humor when it's helpful, because healing doesn't have to feel heavy every step of the way. I take a collaborative, person-centered approach to therapy, recognizing that you are the expert on your own life. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to meet your unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your personal history and current concerns, and identify goals that are meaningful to you. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we'll develop a plan that supports your strengths, addresses your challenges, and reflects your individual needs.
