Great to meet you!

Real Support for Real Life

Sometimes you know something needs to change, but you’re not quite sure where to begin. You may feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, stuck in familiar patterns, or simply tired of trying to figure everything out on your own. Therapy can be a place to pause, make sense of what you’re carrying, and find a way forward that feels right for you.

I don’t believe therapy is about fixing you or telling you what you should do. It’s about getting curious about your story, understanding what’s underneath the struggle, and finding tools that help you feel more grounded and in control of your life. I’ll meet you with honesty, compassion, and a willingness to sit with you through the hard parts while helping you move toward meaningful change.

Experience

My clinical experience has taken me across behavioral health, crisis intervention, healthcare, pediatric care, addiction recovery, and family services. I’ve worked with individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, major life changes, relationship and family challenges, behavioral concerns, and complex mental health needs.

Most recently, I served as a Pediatric Cardiovascular and Heart Transplant Social Worker, supporting children and families through incredibly difficult and uncertain circumstances. I’ve also worked as a Clinical Therapist, Crisis Clinician, Team Lead, and Clinical Therapist Manager, experiences that have shaped how I show up for the people I work with.

My approach to therapy

Finding the right therapist matters. You should feel comfortable showing up as you are—without having to explain everything perfectly or worry about being judged. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported while also feeling encouraged to grow.

I work with adults, children and teens ages 6+, and families navigating a wide range of challenges and life experiences. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Therapy isn’t just about talking through what’s difficult; it’s about understanding yourself, building skills that work in real life, strengthening relationships, and creating changes you can carry with you beyond our sessions.

What you can expect from me

I believe therapy should feel safe, grounding, and—when possible—hopeful. My job isn’t to fix you. It’s to walk beside you, help you make sense of your experience, and equip you with tools that really work in everyday life. I use a combination of evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, including:

  • Trauma-Informed Therapy – understanding the impact of trauma on the body and mind
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – for processing trauma and past events
  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) – to shift unhelpful thought patterns
  • DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) – to support emotion regulation and mindfulness
  • CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) – especially helpful for trauma recovery
  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) – supports emotional flexibility, values, and meaningful change
  • Play-Based Interventions – uses creativity, expression, and age-appropriate activities to support emotional understanding and coping skills

You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate life's challenges, celebrate your progress, and build the life you want to create.
