Great to meet you!

What would it feel like to actually enjoy your life, not just get through it? That's what I want to help you access — your vitality, your creativity, your sense of self and appetite for life.

Before any modality, I prioritize empathy and genuinely building relationships with my clients, because healing happens in the context of feeling safe and truly met.

Outside of the therapy room, I'm usually writing, cooking, getting lost in a novel, practicing yoga, finding a scenic hike, or have my hands on the pottery wheel — practices that keep me tethered to the same aliveness I hope to help you find. To me, healing is not just about making symptoms disappear, but of building a inner world and a life that feel like yours again.

My approach to therapy

I work with highly sensitive individuals, perfectionists and people-pleasers in recovery, and adults navigating complex and developmental trauma and religious wounding — helping people rebuild self-worth and a sense of self they can trust.

My approach integrates EMDR and IFS with a root-cause, whole-person lens — treating the body as central to healing, not separate from it, so change happens beneath the surface and not just in how you cope. I'm a dually licensed LCSW in Texas and Tennessee, offering tele-health for adults.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is for you to feel met, not assessed. We'll spend time understanding what brought you in, but just as much time getting a felt sense of how you move through the world: what feels safe, what feels overwhelming, and what you're hoping might shift.

I ask a lot of questions, but there's no pressure to have it all figured out or articulated perfectly.

Many of my clients are highly sensitive people who've spent years managing everyone else's needs before their own — so I try to make this first hour feel like an exhale, rather than another place you have to perform in.

By the end, we'll have a shared sense of where to begin and what pace feels right for you.
