Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Madison Campbell, LCSW (she/her). I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself without judgment, and my goal is to meet you where you are, understand your experiences, and work alongside you toward meaningful change. I primarily work with adolescents and adults (ages 13 and up) experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, life transitions, and the kind of stress that makes everyday life feel overwhelming. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and collaborative, and I'm trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and motivational interviewing. I earned my MSW from the University of Louisville. I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and supported — so whether you're working through something specific or simply feel ready for change, I'm here to help you navigate it at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My approach to therapy

I take pride in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere in session. I aim to be casual, relatable, and genuine while holding the professionalism and boundaries that make therapy safe — because therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating or overly clinical. It can be a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, explore what you're experiencing, and work toward real change. Depending on what you need, I draw on Accelerated Resolution Therapy for trauma, trauma-focused CBT, behavioral activation, solution-focused work, and a strengths-based lens. The approach flexes to fit you and your goals, not the other way around.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a comfortable, supportive, judgment-free space where we start getting to know one another. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you're currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I'll take time to learn about your history, your strengths, your challenges, and the areas of your life that feel most important to you, and together we'll begin identifying goals and shaping an approach that feels personalized to you. Most importantly, you don't need to have everything figured out before starting — my goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work ahead.
