Great to meet you!

Mae is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), addictions counselor (LCADC), and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach with specialization in trauma training. Her path to becoming a mental health therapist involved her personal journey. The experiences and challenges she faced in her formative years resulted in a scarred childhood which led to three things.

  1. The need to heal
  2. A focus on the importance of Mental & Emotional Health
  3. The desire to help others heal by providing therapy

My approach to therapy

Mae believes the foundation of therapy is the relationship she builds with those seeking help. She provides therapy for adults 18 and older to help individuals live their best life. She utilizes CBT, psychodynamic approach, ACT, EMDR, and IFS, to help you gain deeper understanding of the underlying issue.

Every case has its own special needs and deserves its tailor-made approach. Her approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, respect, compassion, collaboration, and above all from a cultural lens.

What you can expect from me

Mae's goal is to assist you in realizing and reaching your true potential while fostering healing and promoting peak productivity. The most important thing she hopes to achieve by working with you is to reduce dependency on therapy and harness motivation from within. As in her own case, she realized there is no greater victory than turning pain into productivity!
