Great to meet you!

Hello friends! My name is Mae. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a central valley native, a veteran, and a keeper of all the secrets. I am currently located in Turlock, California, and am accepting appointments for new clients. While I do have an amazing therapy couch, and a killer cardigan collection- I am still searching for the perfect office space and can only accept telehealth appointments at this time.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a lifelong musician and artist, I believe in the power of the arts as bridge between the experiential and expressive parts of the brain. Because of this, I try to incorporate the creative arts into sessions as frequently as possible.

I am an advocate for strength-based practices, somatic experiencing/resourcing, and self-determination. I use CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

What you can expect from our first session

It is not uncommon to schedule with multiple therapists before you find someone who is a good fit for you. If I end up not being your person, I will do my best to help connect you with someone who might be.
