Great to meet you!

If you are caught in an exhausting cycle of overthinking, daytime irritability, and late-night restlessness, you know that stress doesn't just stay in your head. It directly impacts your physical health, your sleep, and how you show up for your family and your relationships.

I partner with adults who are ready to break out of these draining loops. Whether you are dealing with chronic insomnia, navigating physical pain or somatic illness, or feeling constantly overstimulated and easily annoyed by daily demands, our work together is practical and action-oriented. We won't just sit around talking about your stress. We will actively map out your unhelpful thinking patterns and build concrete behavioral strategies to reset both your mind and your body.

Using evidence-based frameworks like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I provide a collaborative, down-to-earth space where you can learn to process complex emotions, set firm interpersonal boundaries, and build sustainable tools for lasting relief.

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with years of clinical experience dedicated to helping adults break out of exhausting mental and physical loops. My background includes intensive training in hospital-based systems and VA healthcare, meaning my clinical approach is deeply rooted in highly structured, research-backed protocols rather than open-ended, unstructured talk therapy.

I specialize in treating adults dealing with chronic sleep disorders (insomnia), physical pain, trauma, and complex family/parental boundaries.

My style is direct, collaborative, and entirely focused on understanding how your specific cognitive patterns keep you stuck. By utilizing targeted modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, and ACT, we will build practical behavioral habits that actively bring your daily autonomic baseline back down to a normal, manageable level.aseline back down to a normal, manageable level.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a straightforward, thorough conversation designed to map out your current challenges and build a practical plan of action. We do not jump into intense therapeutic exercises right away.

Instead, we will walk through your history with anxiety, sleep patterns, or chronic pain, isolate the specific behavioral habits or thought loops causing the most current disruption, and identify the exact structured tools that fit your life. You will leave the first session with a clear understanding of our clinical path forward and concrete next steps to build momentum right away.
