Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Magaly, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I have experience working in hospital and community-based settings, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions.

I earned my Master of Social Work degree from California State University, San Bernardino. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and strengths-based, with a focus on helping clients feel supported and understood.

I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and move toward meaningful change at their own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment.

I use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies to help clients develop practical coping tools, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen self-awareness.

I believe therapy should be individualized and paced to each client’s needs, with an emphasis on building insight, resilience, and sustainable change over time.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a supportive, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and identifying your goals or areas you’d like support with.

My focus during the initial session is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. There is no pressure to share everything at once — we move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll begin creating a plan that supports your needs and helps guide our work moving forward.
